「Arita Hinamatsuri Tour 2018(有田雛のやきものまつり英語ツアー)」Looking for Participants！

Between February 10th (Saturday) and March 18th (Sunday), the Arita Hinamatsuri Festival is being held in Arita. Within this time, the Coordinator for International Relations of Arita Town Hall gives an English guided tour through Arita, where you can learn about the traditional Hina doll festival, see the world's biggest seven-tiered Hina doll set made of porcelain, and enjoy painting your own piece of porcelain.

【Date and Time】March 10,2018(Sat.) 10:00am～approx.16:30pm
【Meeting point】In front of Shougai-Gakushu Center (free parking lots available)
*If you will reach Arita by train, please wait in front of JR Arita Station where you will be picked up and brought to the meeting point
【Meeting time】10:00am
【Tour Highlights】
○A visit to the Saga Prefectural Kyushu Ceramic Museum
○Exploring the world's biggest seven-tiered Hina doll set made of porcelain
○Painting your own porcelain cup or plate
○Enjoying Japanese special Hinamatsuri lunch
【Participants】Any English-speaking foreigner living in Japan is welcome to participate (up to 20 people)
【Participation fee】1500 Yen
*including transportation within Arita, lunch and the experience to paint either a tea cup or a plate
*postage fees for having the cup / plate sent to your home need to be paid separately at the time of painting at the studio.

有田町では、2月10日(土)～3月18日(日)まで「第14回有田雛(ひいな)のやきものまつり」を開催します。
期間中、有田町の国際交流員が観光案内をする英語ツアーを実施します。現在、その参加者を募集中です。「世界最大の磁器製雛人形七段飾り」の展示や絵付け体験などをお楽しみいただけます。是非ご参加ください。

【集合場所】有田町生涯学習センター (有田町本町丙1002)
【内容】○佐賀県立九州陶磁文化館の見学
　　　　○世界最大の磁器製座りびな七段飾りの鑑賞
　　　　○有田焼の絵付け体験 (お皿or湯呑み)　　　　
　　　　○ランチはひなまつり期間限定の雛ご膳
【参加対象】英語が話せる日本在住の外国人
【定員】20名
【参加料】1名1,500円 (昼食代、絵付け体験料込み)
　　　　　※絵付け体験の作品の送料(円)は元払いですので、別途個人負担になります。
